I am
interested in buying this software but... having tried the demo it

would it be possible to set the file name template so that
you can define
the final number the automatic numbering starts from?
i.e:
I set the batcher to name the files test000#, but, for example, I
want the
numbering to start at test0006, *not* test0001, is it possible
perhaps to
have a little drop down menu with numbers 1-9, to define which
number the #
starts from - does this make sense?

do you need to resize images for? We should know your purpose to choose the
correct way to solve the problem. As size concerns DPI and there are a lot of
ways to apply resize, it will be better to know what exactly the resize option

The resizing is for different dimensions of pages for
looseleafs - for example,
210 x 148mm
230 x 170mm
238 x
173mm
240 x 168mm
297 x 210mm
these five are the ones we are most
likely to use. In fact we may even
want to look into commissioning a
customised version from you where
the above dimensions can actually be
selected from a drop down or
button list...

It is possible to resize the output relative
to the source. For example if your source is A4 we can just resize it to A5, but
we can't reformat it.

Is there no possibility of incorporating it into the batch
converter?
What we are aiming for is one piece of software to perform all

functions we need.. All that's really missing now is the ability
to
rename from any number upwards. (eg 6789, not just
1234)

We need to convert long pdf documents into tif (separate
tif file for
each page) set the DPI to 400, then rename each file. So far
the
software does everything perfectly - the only problem is sometimes
we
might want to start the numbering at (for example) TEST0003. At
the
moment you can only set it to TEST000# , so it starts from
TEST0001.
All it needs is a little drop down menu with 1-9, then you can set
the
last digit as the beginning of the numbering sequence.
Yes, we
would be using this feature every time. I hope this makes
sense
