TotalHTMLConverterX and Vista - No files found matching mask

Posted by Glenn
Hi!

I have been trying to use TotalHTMLConverterX on a Vista Home Premium machine, but alwasy get a 'No files found matching mask filename' error message/popup whenever I try to run it. The file name reported in the error message is the file name that it is supposed to be creating.

The command I am using is: "C:\Program Files\TotalHTMLConverterX\HTMLConverterX.exe" fromfilename.htm tofilename.pdf -jq100 -TTFE Subset -ps A4 -TM 0.5

I.e. both the from file an the to file are located/will be located in the current directory.

The to file does not exist and will not exist until the converter has run.

This same command works fine on XP and 2000, it only has a problem on Windows Vista (Home Premium).

The user has Administrator access, and I have tried running this with the command prompt opened as per normal, and with the command prompt opened as 'Run as Administrator'. I get the same result each time.

How can I get this working on Windows Vista Home Premium?

Thanks!

I have the same msg when using command line to execute html to tif. I have the from_file and to_file in the same root directory ie C:\ and OS is win xp.
What happens is that the html is already been deleted or it has ran through twice.
script a bat file to convert html to pdf, from there you can script the delete process to happen at the end of the file and not during the convert process.

Dear Chris,

I do not quite understand your question. Could you, please, describe it in more details?

Thank you in advance.
