Renaming Files

Hi,

Is it possible to, using any of your tools, rename a folder tree of files with names from txt/csv files?

So i.e. there is a 00000001.pdf file and a txt files with path to it and new name, let's say "TOM_RAMUS.pdf". Is there any program that would rename it to new name?

This program works with many list formats, such as Text, XML, MS Excel, MS Word, MS Access, ADO connection, HTML, Paradox, dBase, Lotus 1-2-3, QuattroPro.

We have been successfully utilising List Rename for a few years and have now come across a limitation. The List Renamer does not want to go beyong 150 characters ina file name where as we are now requiring 254 characters which is the maximum for Windows. Is there a newer version that fixes this problem as we have not been able to finda Renamer that works from an Excel spreadsheet with such a high success rate and a simpel user interface.

Is this something that can be fixed?
