How does MultiRenamer work

To rename a group of files or folders you should

1. Select the file or folder in explorer panel:

   

2. Select Rename files if you want to rename files or Rename folders to rename folders. If the directory contains subfolders with files or folders that you also want to rename check Process subfolders

   

3. Choose the mode using bookmarks

   

4. Set the options (Simple mode and Advanced mode).

5. All the settings you make will be automatically applied to all the files or folders in the current directory. Check the boxes near those files wich you are going to rename. Besides you can use the mask (press the button "Select by mask":

   

   and select the mask:

6. The results will be immediately displayed in Preview window (New file name).
   To apply the settings select File\Rename or press the button Rename.
   Undo renaming by File\Undo Rename in the main toolbar or press the button Undo.
