How to Convert a File
There are three ways to convert a file: via GUI (user interface), command line or right-click menu.
1. GUI
- Launch Total Audio Converter. Select the folder with your files in the file tree on the left. Click it to have its contents displayed in the main panel.
- Select the file you want to convert and mark it (click Check button or check its checkbox below the list). If you need to convert all files of the folder click Check all button.
- Choose audio format in Convert to menu.
Depending on chosen format different Wizards will appear. The wizard will help you make all the setings.
2. Command line
The syntax is: AudioConverter.exe /source/ /destination/ /options/
Example:
AudioConverter.exe C:\Music\*.ACC C:\MP3\ -cMP3
Convert all ACC files from this folder C:\Music to MP3 format and place the converted files to folder C:\MP3
3. Right-click option
- Select the necessary file on your desktop (do not launch Total Audio Converter).
- Right-click with your mouse and choose Convert to option from context menu.
- Choose audio format.
- Depending on chosen file format different Wizard will appear.
