Wizard Dialog

Total Audio Converter was developed to be handy. Intuitive interface makes it easy for everybody to be the master of audio conversions.

When you press button Convert to Wizard dialog window is appeared. It asks you all necessary questions, depending on audio format you need convert to. If you do not know what settings to choose it would automatically set the most appropriate.

When You Need to Convert to MP3 Format

To convert audio file to MP3 select necessary destination, samplerate, channel and bitrate.

• Destination - Choose destination folder to place converted file.
• Samplerate - The higher samplerate, the better quality and the larger file size.
• Channels - Stereo channel is twice bigger then mono, but more qualitative.
• Bitrate - Define how much physical space one second of audio takes. Mark the field 'VBR enabled' to set default variable bitrate: maximum bitrate and quality index.
• Finish conversion - All information about conversion is shown. You can mark the fields 'Delete originals' and 'Open destination folder after converting'.

When You Need to Convert to WAV Format

To convert audio file to WAV select necessary destination, bites, samplerate and channel.

• Destination - Choose destination folder to place converted file.
• Bites - Choose either 8 bit or 16 bit WAV file will be.



• Samplerate - The higher samplerate, the better quality and the larger file size.
• Channels - Stereo channel is twice bigger then mono, but more qualitative.
• Finish conversion - All information about conversion is shown. You can mark the fields 'Delete originals' and 'Open destination folder after converting'.

When You Need to Convert to WMA Format

To convert audio file to WMA select necessary destination, samplerate, channel and bitrate.

• Destination - Choose destination folder to place converted file.
• Samplerate - The higher samplerate, the better quality and the larger file size.
• Channels - Stereo channel is twice bigger then mono, but more qualitative.
• Bitrate - Define how much physical space one second of audio takes. Mark the field 'Constant Bitrate' to change bitrate index and 'Variable Bitrate' to choose quality index 10, 25, 50, 75, 90, 98, 100. Variable bitrate 100 means lossless conversion.
• Finish conversion - All information about conversion is shown. You can mark the fields 'Delete originals' and 'Open destination folder after converting'.

When You Need to Convert to OGG Format

To convert audio file to OGG select necessary destination, samplerate, channel and quality.

• Destination - Choose destination folder to place converted file.
• Samplerate - The higher samplerate, the better quality and the larger file size.
• Channels - Stereo channel is twice bigger then mono, but more qualitative.
• Quality - Set quality of converting file. Quality 0 is roughly equivalent to 64 kbps average. Quality 5 is roughly equivalent to 160 kbps, it's very-near-CD-quality. Quality 10 correspond to nearly 400 kbps. To change it you can just click in direction you need (more or less). You can also regulate quality by keyboard arrows (up-down and right-left) or by rolling mouse wheel. You also can print the number in numeric edit window.
• Finish conversion - All information about conversion is shown. You can mark the fields 'Delete originals' and 'Open destination folder after converting'.

When You Need to Convert to MPC Format

To convert audio file to MPC select necessary destination, samplerate, channel and bitrate.

• Destination - Choose destination folder to place converted file.
• Profile - Here you preset the quality of converting file.
• Telephone- the lowest quality - runs from 32 to 48 kbps
• Thumb - low quality, nearly equal to Internet quality - runs from 58 to 86 kbps
• Radio - medium quality, equal to MP3 format quality - runs from 112 to 152 kbps
• Standard - high quality - runs from 142 to 184 kbps
• Xtreme - extreme high quality - runs from 168 to 212 kbps
• Insane - extreme high quality - runs from 232 to 268 kbps
• Braindead - extreme high quality - runs from 232 to 278 kbps

When You Need to Convert to AAC Format

To convert audio file to AAC select necessary destination and quality.

• Destination - Choose destination folder to place converted file.
• Quality - Set default variable bitrate (VBR) quantizer quality in percent (usable quality is 33%-130%). To change it you can just click in direction you need (more or less). You can also regulate quality by keyboard arrows (up-down and right-left) or by rolling mouse wheel. You also can print it in numeric edit window. You can set the quality of AAC file the same as source by marking correspondent field.
• Finish conversion - All information about conversion is shown. You can mark the fields 'Delete originals' and 'Open destination folder after converting'.

When You Need to Convert to MP4 Format

When You Need to Convert to APE Format

To convert audio file to APE select necessary destination and compression.

• Destination - Choose destination folder to place converted file.
• Compression - Choose the compression mode of converting file. All compression modes are lossless. The highest compression takes more time and need more system resources to compress/decompress.
