You may implement Total PDF ConverterX into your product and distribute the program to third parties as an integral part of such product. It is licensed per project (no matter how many developers are involved).

"We are using the tool as part of a hospital interface. We receive several PDF files from a Pathology system in the hospital and we need to convert those to a TEXT file so we can read the TEXT file and grab certain data from the report. We use that data to create the filename for the PDF report that we send to an electronic medical records system. The EMR system uses that filename to index that PDF and pull it into their system so that it is part of the patients permanent medical record.
