Category | Audio File |
Description | TTA (The True Audio) is a free lossless audio codec associated with True Audio Software. TTA can scale audio files down to about 30%-70% of their original size, and the compression runs on multichannel 8, 16 and 24-bit data of WAV tracks. Like any other lossless format, it retains original sound quality when compressed, because no data loss takes place. Consequently, uncompressing TTA files will result in a complete reproduction of the original files. This format uses a real-time encoding/decoding pattern and has plugins, which are available for the majority of players. |
