You backed up your contacts in Truecaller and now you are stuck with a .zcf file that no normal address book will read. The .zcf format belongs to Truecaller alone — Outlook, Google Contacts, and your phone's address book do not understand it. Converting ZCF to VCF turns that locked backup into a standard vCard file you can import anywhere, so your saved contacts move freely to a new phone, a new email account, or any app you choose.
A .zcf file is a contacts backup created by Truecaller, the caller-ID and spam-blocking app. When you back up your saved contacts inside Truecaller, the app writes them into this format. The .zcf file is specific to Truecaller and is not designed to be opened by ordinary address books or contact managers.
