What graphic elements are preserved during CGM to HPGL conversion?

Lines, polylines, arcs, circles, rectangles, and filled polygons all map directly to HPGL pen commands (PU, PD, PA, AA, CI, etc.). Text elements are converted using HPGL label commands (LB), though font substitution may occur because HPGL plotters use their own built-in character sets rather than the embedded fonts a CGM file can carry. Raster images embedded in CGM (CGM Application Profile 3 and later support bitmap content) have no equivalent in standard HPGL and are omitted.

Does the conversion support CGM Application Profiles like WebCGM and ATA CGM?

The converter handles the vector geometry in WebCGM and ATA-compliant CGM files. WebCGM-specific extensions such as hyperlinks, object identifiers (APS, APC), and metadata annotations are not carried into HPGL because the format has no mechanism for them. What is the maximum file size for the online converter?
