What Is PPTX?

PPTX is the Open XML PowerPoint format introduced with Office 2007. Unlike PPT, PPTX is a ZIP archive containing XML files and embedded media. PPTX is the current default format for PowerPoint and is supported by LibreOffice, Google Slides, and Keynote (with limitations). However, sharing PPTX files still risks font substitution and layout shifts on systems that lack the same fonts and Office version.

What Is BMP?

BMP (Windows Bitmap) as a slide output gives a pixel-perfect uncompressed render of each slide at a defined resolution. Because BMP is uncompressed, it is lossless — text, gradients, and fine shapes are reproduced exactly as rendered.
