So, you have ripped some files from a source and stored them as FLAC files. FLAC stands for Free Lossless Audio Codec. This means you have made a great choice because the file type compresses the size of the file without reducing the sound quality of the audio. You can create your mix playlist, store it and enjoy the same quality as if it had just been recorded in the studio. A perfect way to pull together a gift for your loved one’s birthday or an anniversary. It is open source; it offers quality, but…
There is always a but, right? Well, this one is significant. You prepare the playlist for the hot date, but it won’t play. There are few MP3 players, whether on a computer or mobile device, that will play a FLAC file. In other words, high quality but with limited playback options. You may get CD quality with half the space taken, but you cannot just play it anywhere.

What is a FLAC file?
A FLAC file is an audio file. It is useful because it is compressed using the FLAC audio encoding algorithm. This algorithm is an open source lossless, audio code, which is excellent at storing high-quality audio in a small space. FLAC is a much better format than CDA and WAV, as the sound quality is as good as a CD but with about half the size of these previous files.
Why would you want to split a FLAC file?
A FLAC splitter is essential for two reasons. The first reason to split FLAC is to rip an individual track from a CD. A CD is loaded with a cue file, which gives individual information about what track is playing now and what is coming next. To split FLAC files, you take this information and use it to make an individual file of each track you want.

AutoCAD is a great program that allows you to create 2D and 3D technical and engineering drawings. The problem is most people don’t have this expensive program. However, sometimes users still need to view AutoCAD files but don’t want to buy the app. The good news is there are a lot of CADview and ACAD file viewers out there, and some are free to use.
AutoCAD uses three main file formats:
DWF: DWF stands for Design Web Format and is a secure file format used by AutoDesk for viewing design data and drawings.
DWG: DWG is a binary file format for design data used by AutoCAD. DWG files use vector image data and is a native format for CAD programs.
DXF: DXF is a Drawing Exchange Format created by Autodesk to store CAD models. This format is similar to the DWG file format used for AutoCAD.
