Do the JPG files preserve the book's fonts and text styling?

Yes. Text is rasterized using the same rendering engine used to produce the page layout, so bold, italic, headings, and inline styles appear in the image as they would on screen. The exact appearance depends on the fonts available on the conversion server; some decorative fonts specified in the FB2 may be substituted with system defaults.

What happens to FB2 cover art and embedded illustrations?

The cover image (stored as Base64 data in the FB2 <coverpage> element) is rendered as the first JPG output. Inline body illustrations appear on the corresponding page images at the position they occupy in the rendered layout — they are not extracted separately.

What is the file size limit for the online converter?
